1. The service

Offling is a mobile app that lets you shield one or more apps on your phone and earn break minutes by completing focus sessions. Break minutes count down only while you are in the shielded app; when they run out, the shield returns. The Android build is in testing and the iPhone version is in development, so features may change.

2. No guarantee that the shield cannot be bypassed

Offling works within the limits of your phone's operating system. We do not promise that the shield cannot be bypassed or interrupted. Examples include picture-in-picture windows, manufacturer battery or app-launch settings, revoked permissions, system updates, or turning Offling off. Offling is a self-control aid, not a security or parental-control product.

3. Restrictions off are always free

You can turn restrictions off at any time, and doing so is always free, including if you have no subscription.

4. Subscriptions (planned)

Premium is planned and not on sale. When available, it will be sold through Apple or Google. The price will be shown in the store before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account before the renewal date. You manage and cancel in the store, and the store handles payment and refunds under its own rules. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: do not reverse engineer it except as law allows, interfere with its operation, or use it to break the law or others' rights. Use Offling only on devices and apps you are entitled to control.

6. Privacy

How Offling handles information is described in the privacy policy.

7. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed messages, calls or tasks while an app is shielded, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms or the app; if the changes are material we will update this page. You may stop using Offling at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
